Kallon Experiences the Auburn Family

Francis Kallon is new to the United States, having only played one season of football; that hasn't stopped him from garnering the attention of many schools across the country, including Auburn.

Francis Kallon was on hand to witness Auburn's victory over the Florida Gators in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

"Coach (Todd Wofford) just said, ‘let's go see a game and see the Auburn way.' I am with Trey Johnson, too. Trey is one of my guys. That was an amazing game."

True to the Auburn family's nature, Kallon really felt the bond of the family on display.

"I really felt the love at Auburn. There were random people coming up to me, asking me if I was all right, if I was ok. If I was going to come to Auburn? I really felt the bond here."

Kallon got a chance to meet some of the coaches while on the Plains.

"I spoke the defensive line coach and the head coach. I really liked how pumped up and lively they were."

Kallon said he responds their type of enthusiasm very, very positively.

Kallon is verbally committed to Georgia Tech, but could see a way where he could go elsewhere.

"I don't even know myself, I really think it would be my parents. I respect them so much; I lean on them for wisdom and advice. If they were to say, ‘you go here,' I would go."

Kallon won't soon forget his time on the Plains.

"It was very lively and noisy, which was great; if I were to describe it in one word, it would be family."

"I loved it."
