ATLANTA - Georgia Junior Bowl II will take place Friday, but Scout was on the scene Wednesday. Get the latest on over a dozen top Juniors in the Peach State here.
Eddie Printz/QB/Lassiter: Printz committed to SMU back in September, but he recently pulled back his commitment due to all of the coaching changes going on. When talking to Printz today, he said, "SMU is still in it and I still talk to them, but I just want to look around some in case any changes take place." Printz has over half a dozen scholarship offers.
Isaac Rochell/DE/ELCA: Scout has already placed four stars beside Rochell's name and he is a definite Scout300 prospect in 2013. He has over a dozen offers and he has four favorites. "I like Georgia and Georgia Tech of course because they are close to home and I also like Alabama and Clemson," Rochell told Scout. He is around 250 pounds now and he hopes to play at 260-265 pounds next season.
Cole Segraves/QB/Colquitt County: No schools have offered Seagraves a scholarship yet, but he is hearing from a number of schools. Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt are showing him the most interest right now. The 6-foot-4, 210 signal caller created a buzz at practice today because of his physical style of play. He was being called a 'Tebow-like' QB.
Keyante Green/RB/ELCA: Green has an impressive offer list from schools like Florida State, Georgia, and Virginia Tech among others. He has a favorite in the SEC and that is Tennessee. "Tennessee was the school I always liked growing up and they are number one for me right now," Green said.
Carlos Burse/WR/Alpharetta: Burse used to want to play basketball only on the next level, but that has changed over the past 12 months. He is now a football prospect with offers. "I cannot remember all of my offers, but I know Florida, Duke, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, UCF, and North Carolina State have offered. Right now, Florida is my leader," Burse said. He is waiting to hear from Alabama, a school he has yet to hear from.
Ryan Jenkins/WR/Milton: Ryan's brother Martin Jenkins is currently playing at Clemson and the Tigers have offered the younger brother as well. "I still only have the offer from Clemson, but I am hearing from Oklahoma State, Tennessee, and Alabama," said Jenkins.
Kelsey Griffin/DT/Mill Creek: Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and South Carolina have offered Griffin and he is still open to everyone. More schools will offer, Alabama, Florida, and Purdue have been in contact with him via Facebook recently.
Carl Lawson/DE/Milton: Lawson is not a name many know yet, but he is really creating a buzz daily this week. He plays with a lot of energy and the 6-foot-3, 245 pound junior is only hearing from Auburn now, but expect that to change.
Tyshon Dye/RB/Elbert County: Dye has had Clemson and Georgia on top of his list over the past six months, but he said today that he liked them both the same and had no leader at this time.
Montravious Adams/DL/Dooley County: For months Scout has been raving about Adams and he is showing why this week. He still only has an offer from Clemson, but Alabama contacted his coach this week. Expect Alabama to offer the 6-4/280 junior soon. Right now, Adams said, "I like Clemson, Alabama, and LSU the most."
A.J. Jackson/TE/Lovejoy: Jackson helped his team reach the state title game in 2011 and he already has some offers. "Virginia, Michigan State, Arkansas, Purdue, and Mississippi State have offered me," said Jackson. He said Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech are schools showing interest.
James Ellison/DT/Harris County: Auburn was first to offer over the summer and that was important. "Auburn is still at the top. I have offers from them, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and South Carolina, but Auburn is number one," Ellison said. Florida likes Ellison as a offensive lineman and they are showing interest.
Brandon Kublanow/OG/Walton: Kentucky and Miami are showing Kublanow a lot of interest and they could be close to offering him. He has offers from from Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Vanderbilt right now. When asked about when he'd like to commit, Kublanow said, "Early next season."
Shamire DeVine/OT/Tri-Cities: "Florida is the most recent offer for me and I have eight or nine now. I have been invited to a lot of Junior Days, but I am not sure which ones I will make yet. I am not sure when I want to commit yet. I am looking at Georgia, Georgia Tech, and all of the schools that are recruiting me and my teammates," Devine said.
