Signee Notes: Running Back Jovon Robinson

All-American running back Jovon Robinson has signed scholarship papers.

Memphis, Tenn.--Jovon Robinson, a four-star recruiting from Wooddale High, has signed scholarship papers to play football for the Auburn Tigers.

Position/Scout Ranking: Jovon Robinson, 6-1, 220, Wooddale High, four stars, rated as the No. 22 running back prospect in the country.

Auburn's Main Competition: Robinson committed to the Tigers at a one-day camp in July over offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi State, Memphis and Miami.

Jovon Robinson's combination of speed and power made him a high school All-American.

Why Auburn Signed Him: Robinson is a big, strong and explosive back who has the durability to run between the tackles and the instincts to cutback to the outside for the Tigers.

Worth Noting: In addition to being selected for the Offense-Defense All-American Game in Dallas, Robinson was also chosen to play in the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
