SEC for Young?
Miami made a late run at Avery Young, but all signs still point at him choosing an SEC program on Signing Day. Many have felt Auburn may have been the school in the lead, but Florida has been up there since the beginning as well, and Georgia has been hanging right there with the Tigers and the Gators for over a year.
Young is a 6-foot-6, 292 pound offensive tackle out of Palm Beach Gardens, and he will make his announcement at 2pm EST on ESPNU.
There should not be a real shocker here, Young picking any one of the SEC programs would not surprise any that have followed his recruitment.
Sunshine State or Peach State?
Josh Harvey-Clemons plans to trim his list down to two on Tuesday night, but one thing we know, he will be signing with a school out of Florida or Georgia on Wednesday morning at 9am EST.
His first official visit went to the Florida Gators in December, then Georgia got him on their campus in January. After he tripped to Athens, he spent time in Tallahassee at Florida State and then in Coral Gables at Miami over the next two weekends.
Now, the five-star linebacker out of Valdosta (GA) Lowndes that has played things extremely close to the vest throughout the process will speak up and announce his decision. His grandfather Woodrow Clemons has spoken for Josh much of the process and the family has many wondering just which school the 6-foot-5, 205 pound athlete will choose.
Does UM have a Chance?
Al Golden and the Miami Hurricanes got Tracy Howard on their campus for an official visit the last weekend before Signing Day, so do they have a chance?
According to some, they do. Others feel he is a lock for the Gators. Some felt he was headed for Florida State, but the ‘Noles appear to be out of this race now.
Florida has been the school as of late that most felt had this five-star, but have the Hurricanes truly entered the race? The star out of Miramar is set to announce his decision around 9:30am EST on Wednesday, so all will know early just who the school for him is.
