Class of 2013 football prospect DeMarquis Polite-Bray talks about his visit to Auburn's junior day.

Lithonia, Ga.--When DeMarquis Polite-Bray picked up his first SEC scholarship offer it was from an SEC program. He is hoping to add an offer from another SEC member, the Auburn Tigers, who he checked out the campus and coaching staff on a recent trip.

"I loved the visit to Auburn," the class of 2013 football prospect said. "I love the atmosphere and how close the coaches are. I love how determined they are to win.

"I have a lot of interest in Auburn," noted Polite-Bray, who plays wide receiver on offense and safety on defense. "It is not too far from Auburn.

"Coach (Tommy) Thigpen is recruiting me for Auburn," he pointed out. "I?like his personality."

Known as "D.J.," the two-way player said he enjoys both offense and defense. "I consider myself an athlete so on defense you can place me wherever you need me and I will do my thing," he said.

"I feel like I am real quick and I see everything before other people see it happening," he added, noting that he makes good things happen on offense when the football is in his hands.

"My first offer was the University of Tennessee," he said. "I just got offered last week by Akron and Western Kentucky. I am hoping to get a lot more offers so I can make my decision real quickly."
