Big Tackle Son Of Former Tiger Star

A recruiting report is featured on class of 2013 football prospect Frank Warren, Jr.

Phenix City, Ala.--Frank Warren, Jr., a big offensive lineman at Russell County High School, said he plans to take in several combines and football camps this year for exposure as he heads into his senior season.

The 6-5, 340-pounder is currently training to throw the shot put and discus for his high school team this spring.

A prospect who is getting letters from colleges, he is still waiting on his first scholarship offer. He noted that he is open about his college choice.

"I am interested in pretty much everybody in the SEC," Warren said. "FSU and Miami are also teams I like."

The son of former Auburn star defensive tackle and NFL player Frank Warren, he started at offensive tackle as a junior and showed the ability to overpower opposing defensive linemen.

"I feel like I improved last year and got better as the season progressed," the class of 2013 prospect said. "This year the main thing I am going to be trying to improve is my footwork."

Last season was his first at Russell County. He transferred there after attending Bessemer City High as a sophomore, but missed the 2010 season due to a medical issue.

One of the places he plans to visit for a camp this year is the college where his father played. "I am definitely interested in Auburn."
