In-State Football Prospect Has Early Offers

This senior-to-be football player has received his first offer from an Southeastern Conference program.

Cullman, Ala.--Cody Green is a big offensive tackle prospect from Cullman High School who is drawing early interest as he has picked up scholarship offers from Arkansas, UAB, and Troy State already.

He is likely to add more offers as he makes his way to camps this summer. He attended a camp at the University of Alabama over the weekend and has more trips planned.
"I'm going to Florida and Auburn in July," he says. "Arkansas, UAB, and Troy State have offered me scholarships so far. I'm also looking at Florida, Alabama Auburn and Tennessee."

At 6-5 and 302 pounds, Green has the frame to make an early impact on the next level. He has been working out and working on his quickness in order to improve as a football player.

"My bench press is about 340, and I squat about 520. I played basketball last season for the first time because I wanted to work on my agility, quickness and footwork. I play right tackle, and I'm being recruited to play offensive tackle."
Green will help anchor the offensive line of a Cullman team that returns 16 starters from last year's team.
