Tre Williams talks Alabama visit

Tre Williams, outside linebacker from Mobile-St. Paul's, Ala., was one of the top prospects on Alabama's campus for the Tide's scrimmage. AN elite member of the class of 2014 talked of the unofficial visit.

"I just left Bama on Friday," said Tre Williams. "I went up there for their scrimmage. The visit was fun. It was fun to be back in Tuscaloosa.

"They looked great. After all the good players they lost last year they still have a good team. I was watching both offensive and defensive players."

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound rising junior has scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and Kentucky.

"I talked to Nick Saban," Williams said. "He was telling another coach to go suit me up. He said I have grown since the last time he saw me.

"Coach Saban is a cool dude. Everyone knows he means business. He is a cool dude though. He is a tough guy on the field."

Alabama remains high on his list along with Auburn. Williams will visit the Tigers on Wednesday.

"They are still neck-and-neck," Williams said. "I know a lot of people at Alabama. They tell me a lot of good stuff at Alabama. I am pretty close with the Auburn coaches."
