He is Auburn's fifth signee for the 2012 class joining a quartet of players who signed with Coach Tony Barbee's team in the early period in November.
Greene played post-graduate prep school basketball this season after graduating from Thornton Township High in Illinois, just outside of Chicago.
The guard said he is looking forward to playing for Barbee. "He is a great guy and I enjoy being around him," said Greene, who chose Auburn over Ole Miss, Iowa, South Florida, the University of Detroit, St. Bonaventure, Loyola of Chicago, Rhode Island and others offered him scholarships.
Auburn's other signees include guard Jordan Price from Southwest DeKalb High in Decatur, Ga., guard/forward Shaq Johnson from Milton High in Alpharetta, Fla,, forward Jordon Granger from McCluer North High in Florissant, Mo., and center Asauhn Dixon-Tatum, an Indiana native who played junior college ball this past season at Chattahoochee Tech in Georgia.
