Pair of Linebackers Choose Chizik's Tigers

Coach Gene Chizik's football team has picked up two more commitments from class of 2013 prospects

Auburn picked up its seventh and eighth verbal commitments for the 2013 signee class with Cameron Toney choosing the Tigers on Saturday while attending Auburn's spring football game weekend and Jarrad Davis following suit

Toney, a 6-2 1/2, 225-pound linebacker from Huntsville High School told Inside the Auburn Tigers that he plans to sign with Coach Gene Chizik's team, which has signing linebackers as a priority for the next signee class.

For Camden County, Ga., High standout linebacker Jarrad Davis chose Auburn over Tennessee and a variety of other programs. He is a 6-2, 215 ppound linebacker for one of the top high school teams in Georgia.

Toney chose the Tigers over Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi State and others.

Toney made 120 tackles last fall as a junior with eight sacks, three interceptions and four forced fumbles.
