Prospect: Roderick Johnson
Hometown: Delray, Fla.
High School: American Heritage
Position: Offensive Tackle
Size: 6-4/285
Ranking on Scout: No. 43 OT
Recruiting Notes: Johnson is committed to Florida and he is solid to the Gators.

Scouting Report: Johnson has good length and he is very flexible. What stood out to me as much as anything was how he moved and bent. He gets in and out of his stance well and he got his hands on his man quickly. He needs to improve his strength, especially in the upper-body and he needs to lock in his hands a little better. He has a good frame to carry 310-pounds and add a good bit of muscle as he continues to develop. When asked to run block, he did a good job of turning his man and controlling him briefly to open holes for the American Heritage running backs. Overall, Johnson had a good day. He has good bend at the knees, he moved well in pass protection, and he showed he could fire off the ball. He is only going to get better as he improves his strength where he can play with more power and develop more technically.
