Camp To Focus On Future For Tigers

Auburn will wrap up its football camp season this weekend with an event that is expected to attract underclassmen as well as class of 2013 prospects.

Auburn, Ala.--With the bulk of the 2013 recruiting class already on board, Auburn will play host to its final football camp of the summer on Saturday with top prospects in this year's class as well as stellar underclassmen expected to be on the Plains.

With a need on the interior offensive line, big Tyrone Crowder from Richmond Senior High in Rockingham, N.C., is expected to make it for the camp this weekend. Planning on watching the action instead of participating, he will have the opportunity to talk with Auburn OL Coach Jeff Grimes and get a feel for what the Auburn program is all about.

A player who Auburn got an early commitment from, later switched to Miami and now is uncommitted once again, Jayron Kearse is expected to make a trip to Auburn for the first time. Taking part in the camp, he's being recruited as a wide receiver by the Tigers and could make a big move at that position with a strong day on Saturday. rates Kearse four stars as an outside linebacker prospect. He can also play quarterback.

After close friend Reuben Foster committed to Auburn on Thursday, Georgia commitment Tray Matthews could be back for a second visit to check out the Tigers this weekend. With the two saying they would like to play for the same team on the next level that could be big for Auburn if Matthews makes a return trip to the Plains and likes what he sees.

Auburn will also have several current commitments on hand to continue bonding with the coaching staff and their future teammates. Among those expected are Kamryn Melton, Trey Johnson, Carl Lawson, Dee Liner and Earnest Robinson.
