Joining with fellow commitments Dee Liner, Cameron Toney, Kamryn Melton and newest commitment Reuben Foster, Robinson said it was fun just to hang out with them and the coaches and try to continue adding to what is already a big 2013 class.
"I just wanted to go down there and recruit," Robinson said. "I just wanted to see how good some of the players were and if they could play at Auburn. I just wanted to help the coaches out. That's all I'm doing.
"I had talked to Reuben at the five-star challenge," he added. "I talked to him about coming to Auburn. Now he's committed to play with me. I just love that I'll be able to play with all of them."
Having already gone through the process and learning about several schools before choosing Auburn, Robinson said he's got some advice for players trying to earn scholarship offers and find a school of their own.
"I just tell them to compete," Robinson said. "Tell them to trust the coaches and dominate. Just go out there and dominate."
He said he also has some special messages for players that ask him about Auburn and why he chose the Tigers.
"I just tell them War Eagle," Robinson said. "I tell them to come down there. They already know what it is and how cool the coaches are. That's all I tell them."
Recently there has been plenty of talk that Alabama is trying to make another run at Robinson after he chose Auburn originally. While Robinson said he continues to hear from the Crimson Tide, his mind is made up.
"They are trying to get on me hard right now, but I'm not worried about it," Robinson said. "I'm still going to stick to my commitment. I'm solid and ready to go. My coach told me about it, but he already knows it's War Eagle!"
