Kitt's committed, but still looking

Demarre Kitt committed to Georgia almost two years before he can sign his letter of intent and although he calls his commitment 'solid', he is still taking visits.

"I am still visiting other schools so I can compare them to Georgia," Demarre Kitt told Scout. "I just want to see the differences, how each school does things, and just check out what it is like at other places."

Kitt has been committed to UGA since the middle of April, but since he announced his pledge to Mark Richt, he has visited Auburn, Clemson, Florida, South Carolina, and USC.

He may be in other towns often, but he still remains a Georgia commitment.

"When I am at Georgia, it feels like that is where I want to be. I am tight with a lot of the Georgia commitments, I am close to Coach [Tony] Ball and Coach [Mark] Richt, and I just have a great bond with the people at Georgia."

The 6-foot-1, 193 pound wide receiver out of Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek will be back in Athens for games this fall, but he will be at other venues as well.

He said his commitment to UGA is strong, but he is not ready to close the door completely yet with 18 months to go before he can with sign with someone.

"I will just be going with the flow these next 18 months. I am a solid commitment to Georgia, but I also want to keep my eyes open. You never know what can happen, so I will still visit other schools, but Georgia is the school I feel the best about right now."

Kitt stays in regular contact with Tony Ball and Mark Richt of Georgia and he said Auburn and Clemson are pursuing him harder than anyone.

He had 42 receptions, 651 receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns in 2011 as a sophomore.
