5-Star List Of Visitors Expected For AU-LSU

The Auburn-LSU showdown will bring in one of the top visitor lists of the year for coach Gene Chizik's Tigers including several five-star prospects.

Auburn, Ala.—Taking on the #2 team in the country Saturday night in Jordan-Hare Stadium, coach Gene Chizik and the Auburn Tigers will have a chance to impress a large and talented group of visitors in for the 6 p.m. ESPN game in front of a national television audience. Five-star safety Vonn Bell headlines the group of uncommitted prospects that could be in this weekend.

Rated the number three safety prospect in the country by Scout.com, the 6-1, 190 Bell made a visit to Auburn over the summer and with the Tigers looking for help at safety it may be a chance for him to get a feel for coach Brian VanGorder's defense. Currently he lists Alabama, Tennessee and Ohio State as his top three, but hanging out with Auburn commitments Reuben Foster, Carl Lawson and Dee Liner this weekend could be just the thing to get Auburn back in the picture.

A former commitment to Florida, offensive lineman Josh Outlaw from MLK in Lithonia, GA is expected to be in Auburn this weekend as well. A four-star guard prospect that backed off his verbal commitment in August, the 6-4, 275 Outlaw visited Clemson last weekend and is looking at Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee in addition to several other schools. Another offensive lineman expected in is David Gross from Trinity Presbyterian in Montgomery. The nephew of former Auburn standout Gabe Gross, he's an impressive player that could be one to watch down the stretch in this recruiting class.

One of the top running back prospects in the 2014 class, Oxford standout Racean Thomas is expected to be on the Auburn campus along with teammates Ulric Jones and Trent Simpson. Both Jones and Simpson are committed to Mississippi State. Also a top 2014 prospect at linebacker, Tre Williams from St. Paul's in Mobile is also expected in for the game as it Auburn High standout and 2014 prospect Rashaan Evans.

With strong bloodlines after his father was one of the top defensive players in Tennessee history, Todd Kelly Jr. is one of the top defensive back prospects in the country for the 2014 class.
