Official Visitors Headline Texas A&M Weekend

Auburn will host several official and unofficial visitors for this weekend's Texas A&M game.

Auburn, Ala.—When the Auburn Tigers take on Texas A&M this weekend at Jordan-Hare Stadium they will do so looking to impress not only a big home crowd, but also a large group of prospects expected to be on hand. With official visits from a pair of commitments and several talented underclassmen also in to check out the program, it's another big weekend for Gene Chizik and his staff.

Choosing the Tigers early last summer, kicker Daniel Carlson from The Classical Academy in Colorado Springs, Col. is ranked the number four kicker in the country by With a powerful leg and very good accuracy, Carlson is next in line for the Auburn Tigers at the kicker position with Cody Parkey entering his senior season in 2013.

Needing help at the safety position, one of the players Auburn will turn to next season is commitment Lemond Johnson from Cooper City, Fla. A terrific athlete that plays quarterback, running back, wide receiver, defensive back and even some defensive end for his high school team, the 6-0, 200 Johnson has rushed for over 100 yards twice this season and could play safety and nickel for the Tigers down the road.

In addition Auburn is also expected to host several fellow commitments on unofficial visits including the nation's number one linebacker Reuben Foster from Auburn High. Also expected in is quarterback commitment Jeremy Johnson from Carver High in Montgomery.

Other 2013 prospects expected to visit unofficially include fullback Jordan Chunn from Madison County High, wide receiver Dijon Paschal from Tallassee, cornerback Corey Hall from Stockbridge (Ga.) High, and quarterback/athlete C.J. Duncan from St. James in Montgomery.

Demarre Kitt

Several talented underclassmen are also expected to take in Saturday's game as well including one of the top junior wide receivers in the country, Demarre Kitt from Sandy Creek High in Tyrone, Ga. A onetime commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs, Kitt has made several trips to Auburn in the past year.

From inside the state lineman Tyler Jones from Albertville is a talented junior that is already getting looks from around the SEC. Other 2014 prospects from Alabama expected in include fullback Austin Mansell from Walker County in Jasper, quarterback E.J. Moss from Ashville, and offensive lineman Zev Finch from Pickens County High in Reform. Just a sophomore, running back Herman McKenzie from Tallassee has turned some heads already in 2012 and is expected to visit Auburn this weekend.
