Amidst a swarm of rumors surrounding the Auburn coaching staff and an NCAA investigation, incoming prospects may be looking elsewhere.

"It's solid right now," A.J. Jackson said of his commitment. "I just need to figure out if [Head Coach] Gene Chizik is going to stay or not. If he stays, I'm going to stay with Auburn.

"If he goes, I got to move on."

Jackson, a three-star tight end at Lovejoy High School in Georgia, committed to the Tigers in May and solidified his commitment to FOX Sports NEXT in September.

After suffering a 3-8 record this season in the wake of a BCS Championship just two years ago, Chizik is rumored to be on the hot seat. If the coaching staff at Auburn changes, Will Jackson's mind change with it?

"Yes," he answered simply.

Jackson has not yet taken an official visit, but plans to schedule multiple trips in the coming months.

"I haven't taken my officials yet, but after football season, I will," Jackson explained. "[I plan to visit] Florida State, Tennessee and Ole Miss.

"If the coaching staff [at Auburn] stays, I'll stay."

Jackson plans to be on-site at Doak Campbell Stadium as Florida State welcomes the University of Florida on Saturday.
