A New Mountaineer

West Virginia hosted a prospect out of the Sunshine State this weekend and he left wanting to be a Mountaineer.

Malik Greaves took an official visit to West Virginia this weekend and it appears he had a great time.

"I've been told that Malik committed to West Virginia today," Sandalwood head coach Buddy Geis told Scout Sunday afternoon.

Geis did not have all the details yet and Scout has not been able to reach Greaves yet as he is on route to his home in Jacksonville, Fla.

Greaves is a 6-foot-2, 205 pound safety that is considered a three-star prospect by Scout.

He was a former Vanderbilt commitment and Auburn showed a lot of interest in him before their head coach was fired last week. Stay tuned for more on this breaking news.
