Mississippi State offered injured junior Florida '14 running back Johnathan Vickers from Tallahassee (Fla.) North Florida Christian High School.
2014 running back prospect Johnathan Vickers
missed his junior season. In the first quarter of his kickoff classic game back in August he broke his leg. Despite the injury and not playing this year, he's still a wanted recruit. Today, he says he picked up a SEC scholarship offer.
"Mississippi State offered me," said Vickers via text message. "Mississippi State has a great program. The running backs there are great and I am looking to just bring my talents to a great program."
Vickers, 5-foot-11 and 200-pounds, is rehabbing and things are coming along just fine for this junior prospect.
"I am doing great," Vickers said. "And things are coming along great as well."
Vickers has also reported offers from Clemson, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss.
