One goal of his is to be the best in his class. He is working towards that.
"I want to be the best. I will never stop working towards that. I want to be the best in the country next year. I am getting some offers and I want to be the next top recruit."
The fourth school was Ohio State and the Buckeyes offered late in 2012.
"It felt good to get an offer from Ohio State. I do not know too much about them yet, but I know they have a great program and that they had a great team this past season. I will be talking to them and learning more about them soon."
He may take a trip to Columbus, Ohio before all is said and done, but he has taken numerous trips to Athens, Ga. including one just before Christmas.
He liked what he saw.
"I went to Georgia in December and it was a good visit. I really like everything there to tell you the truth. I have been there a few times now, so nothing was new to me other than watching them practice, but I just had a good time. I really like it there."
Georgia is an in-state school and Tucker has sent many top prospects to UGA, but at one time, Alabama was Shaw's leader. For now though, he said all are even.
"All of the schools that have offered me are high my list. I do not have any favorites right now. I am just looking at all the schools the same," he said.
Who could be next to add their name to his list of favorites due to an offer? Another SEC school?
"I think Auburn will be next to offer. They have coaches from Georgia and Florida State on their staff now and I have offers from both of those schools, so I think they will offer me soon."
Shaw plans to visit Alabama and Florida State for Junior Days early in 2013.
He is currently the No. 5 defensive tackle in the country on Scout.
