"I haven't felt this light on my feet in a while," Lawson said. "The weight of the world is off my shoulder. WDE."

Lawson took official visits to Clemson and Tennessee the previous two weekends and was on the Georgia Tech campus last week to talk to Yellow Jacket coaches.

The Under Armour All-American made 82 tackles as a senior with 36 tackles for lost yardage with 26 1/2 quarterback sacks.

Lawson made the official visit to Auburn this weekend with a large group of family members.

The 6-3, 255 defensive end originally committed to Auburn last March as recruiting attention blossomed as he made 87 tackles with 15 quarterback sacks as a junior. Explaining his decision at that time, said, "I really like Auburn and they have been my favorite for a while now. I have a long checklist of things I am looking forward in a college and Auburn meets all of them."
