There Is A Spot for Denver At Miami

The on again off again situation for Miami and guard Denver Kirkland is back on again. This four-star prospect from Miami Booker T. Washington will decide on Wednesday morning between the Canes, Seminoles and Razorbacks.

Saying the last few days has been a roller coaster ride for four-star offensive guard Denver Kirkland (Miami, Fla./Booker T. Washington) has to be the understatement of the year. On Thursday, the University of Miami notified him that they no longer had a spot for him in their 2013 class. After meeting between the his high school staff, the family and Miami it's been an on again off again situation. After meeting today, it looks like Kirkland will have to chance to be in this Hurricane's class if that's the team he decides on come Wednesday.

"At one point they didn't have a scholarship for him," said Tim Harris, assistant coach at Booker T. Washington. "But they meet again today and said that they will have one for him."

Now it's up to Kirkland, who will make his pick between Miami, Florida State and Arkansas on national signing day. Kirkland will make his pick at 9:20 a.m. on ESPNU on Wednesday.
