Big Lineman Has Tigers On Top After Visit

Big offensive lineman Terrone Prescod talks about visiting Auburn for Junior Day and what has the Tigers on top at the moment.

Decatur, Ga.—A massive offensive line prospect from Columbia High School, Terrone Prescod has been a frequent visitor to Auburn football games in the last two years. Last weekend he had the opportunity to visit the Plains and see a different side of Auburn as he took part in a Junior Day along with 150 prospect from around the region.

Checking out the facilities, academics and also talking with Coach Gus Malzahn and the new coaching staff, Prescod says that everything about the trip went great.

"The visit was really good," the 6-4, 330-pound Prescod says. "Actually Auburn was very familiar because I have been there about six or seven times. It was different because it was the first time I have been shown around the campus."

Still waiting on an offer from the Tigers at the moment, Prescod says that he got a very good feeling about the coaching staff on the visit and the feelings he's gotten from attending games came back while he was on campus.

"They said they love me and they're going to try to get me and offer as soon as possible," Prescod says. "That's real exciting to me. I might even commit. It's possible.

"I just love the atmosphere," he adds. "I love the coaches and everybody being a family together. Auburn is on top at the moment. I'm starting to like Alabama too and I like Georgia."

Being recruited as an offensive lineman, Prescod says he enjoyed getting the opportunity to sit down with Auburn's offensive line coach. He also got to talk with Malzahn about his plans for the future with the Tigers. Both made a big impact on the big lineman.

"I spent most of my time with J.B. Grimes," Prescod says. "I like him a lot. I also like Coach Malzahn. I think he's going to be a good coach for Auburn. The program is going to progress and hopefully get back to the national championship."

Also hearing from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss and Virginia, Prescod says that his biggest offers are from the Rebels and the Cavaliers at the moment.

Planning to graduate high school early, Prescod says he hopes to make his decision sometime before the start of his senior season.
