LB, Jamardre Cobb, 4th Quarter Sports
Cobb is a tough, physical linebacker and currently rated the No. 1 ILB in the west region. He has a great frame that will easily carry another 20 pounds or so, is very strong and has good football instincts. Cobb is more of a pads and helmet player than a shirt and shorts type but he has always played well in 7 on 7 settings and should have another good weekend.
QB, Brandon Dawkins, Gamebreakers
This will be a big weekend for Dawkins. The quarterback has Cam Newton size and arm strength but struggled a bit with his consistency last season. There is no question he has all the physical tools you could want and is a great teammate and leader, he just needs to clean up his accuracy and decision making. If he can do that, sky's the limit.
WR, Jeff Farrar, Body By Tra
Farrer can play corner or receiver and should be an impact player on both sides of the ball. He's a skilled pass catcher with a strong body and above average speed. At corner, he looks like a natural in how he moves and plays in space and Farrar could really see his stock soar with a big weekend.
QB, Jalen Greene, Gamebreakers
Greene will alternate series' with Dawkins and the hottest quarterback will finish the game. Greene has made big strides in the last year improving his accuracy, touch and feel for the position. The lefty has a very live arm and great mobility. A big weekend could really elevate his stock.
DB, Naijiel Hale, Snoop Dog All Stars
No corner plays with more swagger or an edge than Hale. He's similar to UCLA signee Johnny Johnson in that he might not be the biggest corner around but plays like it. Hale has very quick feet, is extremely tough and physical and has great cover skills. Few players will battle you tougher than Hale.
WR, Rahshead Johnson, Snoop Dog All Stars Johnson played for the 1925 All Stars in Las Vegas last year and might have been the best receiver on what was a loaded squad. He has already earned MVP honors at an earlier tournament and should be mentioned among the top pass catchers in the entire west region.
TE, Tyler Luatua, AIGA
Luatua has the ability and raw talent to be the top tight end, not only out west, but nationally as well. He has very good size and athleticism, is a natural pass catcher and is fearless going over the middle. He's equally as talented on the defensive side of the ball and might even have more upside at outside ‘backer.
DB, Jaleel Wadood, Snoop Dog All Stars
Wadood is a tremendous football player with incredible instincts. He plays a lot of safety at the HS level to take advantage of his playmaking ability but projects as a corner in college. Wadood has excellent quickness and is one of those players that always seems to be around the ball.
LB, Marquis Ware, 4th Quarter Sports
Ware is a two-way standout who will play linebacker and tight end. While he's currently rated with the linebackers, Ware might be a better tight end in college and is getting a lot of looks at that position. Ware has a big frame, is still filling out and he's not even close to reaching his full potential, definitely a high ceiling player worth watching closely.
LB, Dwight Williams, Gamebreakers
Williams is a very talented, all-around ‘backer who does everything well. He can cover and plays very well in space, he's physical and aggressive and plays with an edge and has above average athleticism as well. Williams plays with a motor and is a natural leader on the field.
