"It was nice," Bryant says. "It was my first time being up there and the coaching staff was pretty good. The facilities are nice. I was late getting up there, but it was pretty good when I got there. I watched about 15 or 20 minutes of practice and they're fast.
"I really like the new indoor facility," he adds. "It was pretty fly. I liked it a lot."
Being recruited for Auburn by Coach Melvin Smith, the 6-1, 225 Bryant is a classic middle linebacker prospect that stars for the Aggies. Taking advantage of his opportunity to sit down with Coach Gus Malzahn and more of the staff, he says he likes what they are building with the program.
"It was nice sitting down and talking with the coaches," Bryant says. "He (Malzahn) was telling me how good I looked on film and all that.
With offers from Alabama, South Carolina, Memphis, Kentucky, South Alabama, Northern Illinois and Louisiana-Lafayette, Bryant says that he's very close to getting the news from the Auburn Tigers and thinks that may come on his next visit. No matter when and if it comes he says right now he's living a dream.
"They haven't told me that yet," Bryant says. "I talked to Coach Smith on the phone and he was talking like he wanted to offer me. I'm not going to say I got an offer until I hear the words. It's just great to be able to sit back from the nine schools I have.
"Auburn fits right up there with Alabama," he adds. "South Carolina, Alabama and Auburn and the three main schools I have been to. They are right up there together."
