Already a commitment to the Tigers, big Kamryn Pettway from Prattville is one of four early commitment for Coach Gus Malzahn and his staff and is expected to be back in Auburn for his second trip this spring. Another back expected to visit this weekend is speedy Nick Chubb from Cedartown, Ga.
A four-star back and the number 16 player at his position according to Scout.com and FoxSports Next, Chubb has offers from schools all over the country. Georgia has long been considered the team to beat for Chubb, but he's definitely taking a long look at the Tigers this spring. In the last two seasons he has rushed for over 4,300 yards and more than 50 touchdowns. Also expected to visit is running back C.J. Leggett from North Gwinnett in Suwanee, Ga.
Talented tight end and Auburn commitment Chris Laye is expected to be in for Saturday's game as well. The 6-5, 237-pounder chose the Tigers over Boston College, Louisville, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia and several other schools.
Another talented player from Georgia expected to make the trip to Auburn on Saturday is defensive end Josiah Coatney from Chapel Hill. A four-star prospect, Coatney is 6-4, 250 and had 54 tackles and nine and a half sacks as a junior. He could add an Auburn offer this weekend on his visit.
An offensive lineman that recently took a visit to Auburn, big Kendall Baker from Marist is the number nine guard prospect in the country according to Scout.com. With Georgia and Auburn on top of his list at the moment and Florida State, Clemson and Alabama also in the mix, this could be a big weekend for the big lineman.
One of the earliest offers for the Tigers this spring was to Opelika tight end/H-Back Jakell Mitchell and he's expected to make another trip across town this weekend to see Auburn. A three-star prospect with offers from Duke, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Mississippi State, Wisconsin and several others, Mitchell has had Auburn at or near the top of his list since day one.
Other in-state players expected to visit Auburn on Saturday include safety Demetrius Kemp from Demopolis, quarterback Kendrick Doss from Florence, Draequon Murphy, Charles Standsberry and Landy Capetillo from Carver-Montgomery, running back Deonta Moore from Huntsville, and wide receiver Demarcus Bingham from Foley. Underclassmen Kerryon Johnson and Malik Miller from Madison Academy and Tyler Carr from Southside-Selma are also expected in for Saturday's game as well.
Among the Auburn signees expected to visit on Saturday include linebacker Cameron Toney, defensive backs Kamryn Melton, Brandon King and Khari Harding, quarterbacks Jeremy Johnson and Jason Smith, teammates Carl Lawson and Peyton Barber, wide receiver Earnest Robinson, and running back Johnathan Ford.
