Dawg Post's 15 for 2015 is an early list of players who have already make a mark on the recruiting world. This list is not an indicator of the best 15 high school football players in Georgia. It is not a list of 15 players Georgia will sign in 2015.
It is simply a list of 15 players readers should be aware of as they start to understand 2015's landscape.
Fox Sports NEXT's Chad Simmons on Thompson:
You can't draw them up any prettier than Thompson. When talking defensive linemen he is what you want. He is a lean kid with great strength and athleticism. He may be raw in the technique department, but he has the tools to be special on the next level. Georgia was first to offer, they are an in-state school, and he has visited Athens more than anywhere else, so you have to give Georgia the edge early. Auburn and Florida State are two to watch as well.
Dean Legge on Thompson and Georgia:
Georgia offered first for a reason - and that should give the Bulldogs an edge they could hold on to the entire time. That's easier said that done, however, from a program that's struggled to make top players stay in state.
Georgia has a recruiting edge with Thompson - you could see that at the Mark Richt Camp in June. What the Bulldogs need to do is close the show with Thompson.
