"It went pretty well," Marshall said. "It was a good camp and we had fun. We really got after it. It was a good day.
"I really like Coach (J.B. Grimes)," he added. "He's a great guy and I think he's a great teacher. He really knows how to teach the game. He's just a great coach. I really respect him a lot."
A center by trade, the three-star Marshall showed good feet and strength working at the camp. While he's still waiting on an offer from Auburn, he said the coaching staff gave him some good feedback about what they have seen from him.
"I got to talk with Coach Grimes and with Coach (Gus) Malzahn," Marshall said. "They told me to give them some time because they have a center committed right now. We'll see what happens with that. They told me I did a good job. I did what I could.
"I'm excited," he added. "I would like to get that offer. We'll see what happens. I would be very excited about an Auburn offer. It would mean a lot. I have worked hard."
Currently up to 11 offers, Marshall said that his top group consists of Duke, Wake Forest and some of his bigger offers such as Syracuse, South Alabama and Western Kentucky. He is rated the number 13 center prospect in the country by Scout.com.
