"I'm just taking it one day at a time. I have a top three right now. Wake Forest, Arkansas, and UCF," he said.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound athlete said there are things to like about each school.
"Wake Forest, it's not too far from home, the coaches keep in touch with me on a weekly basis, and they want me for all three aspects of the ball," he said.
"UCF, it's not too far from home, it's the only Florida school I have an offer from and it's the only school I've visited. The whole university is a nice place that I could see myself."
At Arkansas, Floyd likes the relationship he's been building with Linebackers Coach Randy Shannon.
"Coach Shannon, he's from Miami, he's a Miami native, we have a good bond. He keeps in touch with me and he treats me like a son," Floyd said.
Floyd plans to take official visits to all three schools before making a decision. He'll be keeping an eye on a few things to help him make his choice.
"Probably playing time and education (are the biggest factors)," he said.
The Gulliver Prep standout hopes to make a decision sometime in early December. FOX sports NEXT will have the latest.
