"I would say Auburn is still in the picture, especially after Saturday night," Casher told Inside The Auburn Tigers. "I just loved to see the atmosphere of the team and I really liked it. Everything was good. It felt special once again.
"Especially towards the end, that game was good," Casher added. "It was so good. I was just so excited for the players, especially when I went into the locker room. I was able to see how energetic they were and how hungry they were. Coach Malzahn was yelling ‘how does it feel?'' and everyone was so enthusiastic. It was just an amazing atmosphere. I really enjoyed it."
One of over 200 prospects on hand for the game including teammate and Auburn commitment Tre Williams and Vigor teammates Justin Thornton and DeShaun Davis, Casher said it was good to be around those guys once again. Getting the opportunity to talk with several other prospects and hang out with one of his high school teachers made the experience a good one for him.
"During the game a lot of us were just talking and talking noise to each other," Casher said. "We were just having a good ol' time. I tailgated with one of my teachers who was there and I just had a good time. I really did."
Planning to take his time before making a final decision, Casher said that he doesn't have any set plans on visits this season. Wanting to see games at several different places before the season is done, the center prospect said he's confident Saturday won't be his last visit to Auburn.
"I think I'm going to go visit Alabama for a few of their games," Casher said. "I'll probably visit Florida State and I think I'll take some visits to Ole Miss. I might take some visits to Miami or maybe Florida if I can get down there. It's just so far. I would love to take some visits to those types of schools. It won't be my last time at Auburn though, I can definitely tell you that.
"I will make my decision most likely after my season," he added. "I'm just really focusing on my senior year so far. I want to enjoy these games. It had been so long since I went to a college game. It feels good to be back to be in the atmosphere and I can't wait until next year. It's just going to be so much fun."
Casher and St. Paul's (2-1) travel to Gulf Shores this Friday night following a 28-7 win over B.C. Rain.
