Baton Rouge, La. – A slow start doomed the Auburn Tigers in their opening road contest of the 2013 season at LSU. The loss can be pinned on a 21-0 deficit out of the gates that was caused by poor play in all three phases of the game.
If there was any consistent aspect of play for Auburn it was the running of Tre Mason behind the offensive line. The junior carried 26 times for 132 with a pair of touchdowns.
