Holland, Eguae Selected For All-Star Game

Auburn seniors Jake Holland and Nosa Eguae will take part in the College All-Star Bowl in South Carolina on Feb. 14.

Greenville, S.C.--Auburn seniors Jake Holland and Nosa Eguae will have one more chance to impress pro scouts before individual workouts begin as both have been invited to play in the College All-Star Bowl on Feb. 14. Put together in part by the bowl commissioner and former NFL Head Coach Sam Wyche, the bowl is one of just four for FBS seniors this year.

Holland was a three-year starter for the Tigers at middle linebacker, finishing his career with 174 tackles, nine and a half tackles for loss and two interceptions. As a senior Holland made 46 tackles with a fumble recovery. The Pelham, Ala. native played in 45 career games for the Tigers.

A starter in both of Auburn's BCS National Championship Games, Eguae finished his career with 105 tackles, 21 tackles for losses and six and a half sacks. As a senior he moved inside to defensive tackle and was one of the keys on defense as the Tigers won the SEC title.

Nosa Eguae

Starting 12 games, Eguae finished with 22 tackles, two sacks and five and a half tackles for loss in Rodney Garner's defensive line rotation. For his career Eguae played in 53 games for the Tigers with 43 career starts.

All 32 NFL teams are expected to be represented at the game. This will be the last FBS college all-star game this season and will be played after the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
