Who's flipping or who is considering flipping, is that a better headline?
So many commitments have visited other schools in the month of January and some have led to flips, some have stayed with their original school.
We know there will be flips coming between now and Wednesday and JoJo Robinson could be the first. The four-star athlete out of Miami (Fla.) Northwestern looks to be leaning towards Arkansas despite being committed to Florida State.
Florida State is a school in the thick of this topic. Robinson, Treon Harris, Dexter Wideman, and Lorenzo Featherston all currently have their names on FSU's commitment list, but will they be on the signing day list Wednesday evening?
North Carolina. The 'Canes aren't considered that with Harris, but Florida is, and Auburn could be as well.
There will be flips, some may surprise, some will be expected.
Just this past weekend, well over a dozen prospects that are committed to one school, visited another.
Some flips could be big names, while others may be names only recognized by a small crowd.
Scout looks at five Scout 300 prospects to keep an eye on here.
Gators Closing Strong?
That was a big boom early in January, there could be more fireworks a month later.
Florida is in on numerous big-time offensive prospects including Florida State commitment Treon Harris, elite offensive linemen Derrick Kelly and Damien Prince, and five-star athlete Adoree Jackson out of California.
The Gators are just outside the top 10 sitting at No. 11 on Scout's Team Rankings, but seem to ready to make a splash in the top 10 when all is said and done Wednesday.
War Eagle or Roll Tide?
UCLA was in late last week one last time and the unofficial visit to L.A. was canceled by the Evans' family. Jeff Ulbrich deserves a lot of credit here for keeping the Bruins in the race as long as he did.
But on Saturday night at Rashaan's grandfather's birthday party, it was a showdown between the two in-state schools.
Auburn had more coaches there including Gus Malzahn, but 'Bama has been right there, and it is right there a couple of days away from the announcement.
There is a lot of pressure on Evans to sign with Auburn, the school that is a couple of miles from his home, and the school both his parents attended at one time.
Alabama's defensive history under Nick Saban has given the five-star outside linebacker a lot to think about. Does he want to play that position or the "Star" position AU is recruiting to fill?
That could be what it comes down to.
Evans knows more of the Auburn class personally, but he knows some of the Alabama commits as well. He is looking to go to the school that gives him the best chance to play football on the next level.
He has a big decision to make Wednesday morning.
Can UGA keep Best at Home?
UGA has been trending here for some time now, but it is not a done deal.
Florida and LSU in particular have given Carter a lot to think about and both of those schools are looked at as contenders for the 6-foot-5, 235 pound athlete out of Norcross.
Will Muschamp and a handful of UF coaches were in the Carter home Thursday as was Brick Haley from LSU. Les Miles used his in-home a week earlier and Mark Richt with a couple of Bulldog assistants were there last Monday.
Georgia has made Carter a top priority since the spring and he knows it. His mother likes the location of Athens and having her son close to home, but this will be her son's decision in the end.
He will announce his decision at 3:45pm ET on Wednesday. Florida State is in this as well, but most feel FSU is down the list behind Florida, Georgia, and LSU at this time.
If Georgia wants to close strong in 2014, Carter is a must.
West Coast Love in Louisiana?
Could some of the best in Louisiana end up all over the west coast when the ink dries on signing day?
It looks like a real possibility.
Dupre and Young are not committed, but Godchaux is committed to LSU.
The one the Bruins look to have the best shot at is Young out of this group. UCLA has been trending here for a few weeks and some think he has already silently committed to Jim Mora.
It may be tough for UCLA to beat LSU for Dupre and there are mixed reports on Godchaux, but it still looks like he sticks with the Tigers.
The state of Louisiana is loaded in 2014 and the top prospect, Leonard Fournette is staying home, but after that, out of the next five (Three are five-star prospects) that are committed, all are headed out of state. Three to Alabama, one to Florida, and the other to Texas A&M.
