Position/Scout Ranking: He is rated three stars as the No. 172 wide receiver prospect in the country.
Auburn's Main Competition: He originally committed to East Carolina in January, but took an official visit to Nebraska and switched to the Cornhuskers. After returning home from the trip he got an offer from Auburn 48 hours before national signing day and picked the Tigers.
Why Auburn Signed Him: Boston is a good wide receiver, but he really stood out on defense as a senior. Signing defensive backs is a priority for Gus Malzahn's 2014 class and that is the side of the ball Boston is expected to play on at Auburn.
Quoting Boston: "I kind of felt like it (an Auburn offer) was coming because they were working pretty hard. Coach Cheese (Charlie Harbison) had been talking to me the whole time telling me that he was going to get me. He was working his butt off. If he hadn't gotten it I was headed to Nebraska, but everything worked out. Look where I'm at. I'm a die-hard Auburn fan. That was my dream school so I felt like if I got the offer I should take it, why not?"
Worth Noting: After playing wide receiver from his ninth grade through junior seasons, he moved to safety as a senior and made 105 tackles with four interceptions and two forced fumbles. He also returned a pair of punts for touchdowns.
