Auburn's annual intrasquad contest, which attracted a school-record crowd of more than 80,000 fans last year, will kick off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 19th. The game will be televised live on ESPN. Tickets are $5.
"The crowd at A-Day last year was incredible and was a springboard for our success during the 2013 season," said Gus Malzahn, whose team finished 12-2 in his first season as head coach of the Tigers.
Fans attending the football scrimmage will also have the opportunity to see the baseball Tigers in action. Auburn plays a three-game series vs. South Carolina with games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The game time for the Saturday baseball game has been set for 4 p.m. so fans can attend both events.
The Tigers won the SEC championship and finished No. 2 nationally after losing to FSU in the BCS title game.
Auburn is expected to start spring drills on March 18th.
