"I have an offer that stands," Ordway said. "They are now competing with Alabama and the others. I don't really have a top group of teams, but they are definitely in the running for it. I think highly of Auburn.
"The offer means a lot," he added. "I got the Alabama offer last week and to come in this week to have an offer from Auburn is great. I'm loving it."
Getting his first opportunity to see the Auburn campus and facilities, the nation's No. 21 cornerback said he liked everything he saw from the Tigers and especially liked having the chance to bond with the coaching staff.
"It was great," Ordway said. "I enjoyed it going down with my teammate. I just had a blast today. It was my first trip there. The coaching staff was great. The facilities were great. I enjoyed the whole tour all the around.
"I spent a lot of time with the corners coach, Coach Smith," he added. "I also spent time with Coach Cheese (Harbison), the safeties coach. We watched some film and broke down some techniques. I had a blast today with them."
Still trying to narrow down his list of schools with no timetable for a decision, Ordway said Auburn definitely helped its case following his visit.
"I would grade my visit a high ‘A'," Ordway said. "They are high-class and competing with the best in the country. I just really enjoyed it today."
