  • Prospect: Bailey Sharp

  • High School: Sprayberry
  • Class: 2015

  • Ranking on Scout: | No. 31 OT | No. 25 in Ga.
  • Recruiting: Sharp had plenty of ACC and SEC options, but in the end, he committed to Auburn over Clemson.

  • Scouting Report: Sharp is an offensive tackle that may be better fit for right tackle, but left tackle is not out of the question.

He has a good frame with plenty of room to add good weight. He is working hard in the weight room and that will really help him. He needs to develop more strength, specifically in the upperbody. He has good leg drive, but needs to improve his punch and strength to control the strongside ends.

As a run blocker, he is good at firing off the ball with a flat back and low. He does a good job of setting his hands inside and controlling the opposition. He needs to improve on using his length and working to extend those arms keeping defensive linemen off his body.

As a pass blocker, he is solid. Has good feet, not elite feet. He can move in space and he has a good base set. Again, he needs to work on using his length and improve his balance. Likely best suited against the strongside ends, but the rush ends.

Overall Sharp is smart and he is someone who has a lot of room to improve. He is going to get stronger and improve as a pass protector. His mobility is good - he is able to pull, get to the second level, and get down the field on screen plays. He has a very good understanding of the game, he loves to finish his blocks, and he is always looking to improve.
