Kim Set To Choose Between Auburn And Georgia

Mill Creek (Ga.) four-star offensive lineman Kaleb Kim talks about his trip to Auburn for Saturday's A-Day game and choosing between the Tigers and Georgia next week.

Hoschton, Ga.--Four-star offensive lineman Kaleb Kim has been down to just two schools for the last few weeks and on Saturday he took a visit to see the Auburn Tigers one final time before he prepares to announce his decision. Spending the day with his family as Auburn participated in the annual A-Day game at Jordan-Hare Stadium, Kim said he had a great time talking with the coaching staff and seeing what Auburn is all about.

"It's still the same feelings for me," Kim said. "Just awesome coaches. I got a moment to speak to Coach (Gus) Malzahn and Coach (J.B.) Grimes and really got to talk to them a good bit. I enjoyed the conversations about when I'm going to make my decision and all that. I will be committing Friday to either Auburn or Georgia."

Making a pair of visits to Auburn this spring, Kim said one of the highlights of his Saturday visit to the Plains was having the chance to watch Grimes' offensive line in action.

"I just kind of watched the offensive line," Kim said. "What they do is really similar to what we do at my high school. That could definitely make things a lot easier. That's one thing I like about Auburn."

Now getting closer to finalizing things and making his announcement, Kim said he got an earful from Auburn commitments such as Tyler Queen and Bailey Sharp on Saturday but it was all in fun for him.

"I got to hang out with Bailey Sharp and Tyler," he said. "I enjoyed spending time with them. It's pretty cool because if I do end up going there I would have some buddies to hang out with for sure. It would make things easier to have people I know to hang out with."

After months of mulling over schools and trying to find his future home, it comes down to rivals Auburn and Georgia for the 6-4, 280 Kim. With the opportunity to see each of his two schools on several occasions he said all that is left is to make things public.

"It has helped me a lot," Kim said. "I have just focused on those two instead of having to deal with a bunch of schools all over the place.

"Pretty much (knows where he's going)," he added. "I just want to finalize a few things and be completely set."
