Scout three-star quarterback Lamar Jackson hasn't eliminated South Carolina, but you don't hear much about them from the talented signal caller. The commitment of Lorenzo Nunez to the Gamecocks likely means that there will not be any other quarterbacks offered in the class of 2015, and with the other quarterbacks offered by Spurrier's crew already committed, Jackson is the Gamecocks last hope if they want to land two in this class.

Scout five-star offensive guard Jalen Merrick from New Smyrna Beach High School in New Smyrna Beach, Florida looked good in Tallahassee, reports Florida Recruiting Analyst Geoff Vogt.
