South: Stock Up for Six

After attending camps at Auburn, Florida State, and Georgia, numerous prospects stood out and National Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons names six that improved their stock the most on Scout...

Over 500 prospects were seen at Florida State, close to 600 at Georgia, and around that same number at Auburn.

Each school has elite talent on their campus competing and numerous impressed Scout's Chad Simmons.

Here are five who really should see their stock improve when it comes to rankings.

Jaleel Laguins | 2016 OLB | Watkinsville (Ga.) Oconee County
Camp: Auburn and Georgia
Notes: Athlete -- that is what Laguins is. He is an explosive prospect who can be used as a blitzer off the edge and he has good range in space. He was offered by each school he camped at over the weekend and he will be at Florida Friday.

D.J. Matthews | 2017 ATH | Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast
Camp: Florida State
Notes: Smooth is what Matthews is. He worked at wide receiver in Tallahassee, Fla. and he was good -- very good. He is crisp and quick out of his breaks and he snatches the ball out of the air. He could also project as a cornerback. He committed to FSU before he left.

Emanuel McGirt | 2015 OT | Durham (N.C.) Hillside
Camp: Georgia
Notes: Just gets better each time and he still has a lot of room for improvement. He showed very good feet in pass-pro and excellent punch. He has so much upside. Now pushing 270 pounds with room to add another 30 with no problem. The North Carolina commit is likely to move into the Scout 300 soon.

Chidi Valentine-Okeke | 2016 OT | Hialeah (Fla.) Champagnet Catholic
Camp: Auburn and Florida State
Notes: This offensive tackle will push for five stars before all is said and done. He is still new to football, but he is how you draw up an elite offensive tackle on the hoof with many traits you look for. He is light on his feet, he can play with a flat-back, and he has great length. His punch and hands stood out as much as anything.

Isaiah Pryor | 2017 S | Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer
Camp: Georgia
Notes: Just about to begin his sophomore year, but he does not look like a typical sophomore. Close to 6-foot-2, 180 pounds and he can move. Great closing speed on the ball and likely a big safety on the next level. He is closing in on double-digit offers now -- he should eclipse that mark soon.

Janarius Robinson | 2016 DE | Panama City (Fla.) Bay
Camp: Florida State
Notes: Already a Scout 300 prospect and a solid four-star, but he was possibly the most impressive prospect at any camp. He was dominant in the one-on-one sessions and so explosive off the ball. He is only going to get better.
