Tigers Agree To Two-Game Series Vs. Clemson

The Auburn vs. Clemson football series will resume with a game for the 2016 season.

Auburn, Ala.--The Auburn football Tigers and the Clemson Tigers will play a home-and-home series for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Auburn Athletic Director Jay Jacobs announced on Wednesday that the ACC team will visit Jordan-Hare Stadium on Sept. 3, 2016 and that Auburn, the 2013 SEC champions, will play at Clemson on Sept. 9, 2017.

The teams last met at the Georgia Dome in 2012 with Clemson taking a 26-19 win the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic.

Auburn leads the overall series 34-13-2 with a 20-4 advantage in games played at AU and a 10-6-1 edge in games played at Clemson.

Coach Gus Malzahn's 2014 Auburn Tigers will open the season on August 30th with a home game vs. Arkansas. His Tigers begin practice on Friday.
