Auburn-LSU A Night Game At Jordan-Hare

Auburn will face LSU in a night game at Jordan-Hare Stadium to start an insanely difficult run of games on the 2014 schedule.

The SEC has announced the game times for Oct. 4 with the Auburn Tigers taking on LSU at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN. With a huge weekend slate of games Coach Gus Malzahn’s team will face rival LSU at night, looking to avenge last season’s 35-21 loss on the road in Baton Rouge.

No. 5 Auburn takes on Louisiana Tech this weekend in a 3 p.m. kickoff on the SEC Network following a road win at Kansas State; while No. 17 LSU faces New Mexico State at home after falling in Tiger Stadium to Mississippi State.

The LSU game starts one of the most difficult schedule runs any team has likely had to manage as Auburn will face seven teams currently ranked in the Top 17 of the AP poll in its final eight games. In this week's rankings Alabama is ranked third, Texas A&M is sixth, Ole Miss 10th, Georgia is 12th, South Carolina one spot behind at 13th, and Mississippi State 14th.

The weekend in the SEC is the first this year to include a full slate of SEC-only games. Here is the full schedule for the weekend’s games.

Texas A&M at Mississippi State, 11 a.m., ESPN

Florida at Tennessee, 11 a.m., SEC Network

Alabama at Ole Miss, 2:30 p.m., CBS

Vanderbilt at Georgia, 3 p.m., SEC Network
