Big Hamm Has Tigers On Top

Brodarious Hamm talks about his visit to Auburn last weekend and why the Tigers are on top for him.

Griffin, Ga.--A physical offensive line prospect who has had Auburn as one of his top teams since getting an offer from the Tigers earlier this spring, big Brodarious Hamm was back on the Plains last weekend to see Coach Gus Malzahn’s team in their first scrimmage of the spring. Watching the offensive line to see how they performed, Hamm pointed out that overall it was another good trip for him.

“It was pretty intense,” Hamm said. “I like how they got at it at practice. They go pretty hard and the coaches work them pretty hard. Overall it went good.

“It’s good because it gives me a chance to get into the program,” he added. “It’s my style and I like it because they are all into it. Everything has to be right with no slacking off or anything.”

Getting to spend a lot of time with Auburn offensive line coach Coach J.B. Grimes and also watch him on the practice field, Hamm said he really likes how Grimes goes about his business between the lines and also when the players get off the field.

“He is pretty much like my coach is,” Hamm said. “He’s on his players watching every little thing. He’s just being an offensive line coach.”

Hamm is shown at the Nike camp held in March in Buford, Ga.

Saying that he may make his decision sometime this summer, Hamm said Auburn is No. 1 for him at the moment with Tennessee and LSU right behind them.

“I just like Auburn overall,” Hamm said. “They’ve got everything I want.”
