“I have narrowed it even more down,” Threat said. “There is a top two in my recruitment right now, Auburn and Ole Miss. It’s even right now. I have been to both campuses and love both campuses.”
Making trips to both campuses over the last few months has given Threat a chance to learn more about the Rebels, something he hasn’t had to do as much of with Auburn because of his knowledge of the program and also having several good friends already on the roster.
“The only difference I would say is that I just know more people at Auburn than I do at Ole Miss,” Threat said. “Other than that I love them both equally. The coaching staffs are both great, the players are easy to get along with and talk to. They are equal.”
Last weekend Threat was back on the Auburn campus to check out the Tigers one more time before his decision and he said he saw some good things from Will Muschamp’s defense. With a chance to see them in action for the second time this spring he said the group looked different than the one he saw last season.
“What stood out was the way the defense moved to the ball,” Threat said. “They were flying around and the tempo of the game was great. Just the way they flew around to the ball and swarmed was nice to see. It was like a practice, but more intense. They took it serious.”
