“At Auburn the facilities are great and everything down there is great,” Spector said. “The coaches are great. Everything is state-of-the-art, I love it. I would love to come down there and play. It’s awesome. I can’t say anything negative about it at all.
“The camp experience was just great,” he added. “Everything about it was good from running the 40’s to the competition. The competition was great. It was one of the best that I have been to so far.”
While his play on the field was reason enough for confidence after running 40-yard dash times in the 4.5 range at 6-1, 205, Spector said getting a great deal of positive feedback from Coach Will Muschamp was a big deal for him.
“It was exciting,” Spector said. “I’m so excited it’s just crazy. He told me he was on the verge of offering me and had talked to Coach Malzahn about offering me. It’s exciting. I wish it would happen and I hope it happens soon. He told me I would play big D1 football wherever I wanted to play and it’s just a matter of time before I get offers. He said that he hopes I play at Auburn and I would love to.”
Currently hearing from Duke after camping with the Blue Devils on Saturday, Spector said he’s also hearing from several other schools as he heads into the summer before his junior year. After getting a taste of what Auburn is all about while on his Sunday camp visit, Spector noted that getting an offer from the Tigers would be a huge step for him and he’s hoping it comes soon.
“It would probably be the biggest thing in my life almost,” Spector said. “To get one that big would be great.”
