Shots from a recent summer workout for Coach Bruce Pearl and the Auburn basketball Tigers are featured.

Auburn, Ala.--Cinmeon Bowers (above) has trimmed up significantly since last season when he transferred to Auburn from junior college.

Kareem Canty will be counted on to play a huge role for Tigers as a scorer from the point guard position after redshirting last year as a transfer from Marshall.

Another player who could help as a scorer is true freshman guard Bryce Brown, who is coming off a strong senior season as a shooter from behind the three-point line.

Seven-footer Trayvon Reed has gotten significantly bigger since last year when he joined the team in December.

Junior guard Tahj Shamsid-Deen works out while Coach Todd Golden watches. Shamsid-Deen is making a comeback from surgeries to both shoulders that prematurely ended his 2014-15 season.

A freshman who will be counted on for help in the paint is Horace Spencer, a center who played high school ball at Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nev.

T.J. Dunans is a juco transfer from Columbia State in Tennessee. Originally from Atlanta, he should be able to contributed immediately on the wing as a junior.

Freshman guard New Williams recently had his knee scoped, but should be back in plenty of time for the season.
