4-Star Cornerback Likes Auburn Visit

Marco Wilson talks about his unofficial visit to check out the Auburn Tigers.

Plantation, Fla.--Class of 2017 cornerback Marco Wilson is a prospect as hot as the summer heat he found on his visit to Auburn on Thursday.

The rising junior made the trip to AU with a group of teammates and coaches from Florida high school power American Heritage High School after previously visiting LSU and Alabama. The next stop on their tour of SEC country is Tennessee and they also play to visit the Georgia Bulldogs.

A prospect well known to Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp and defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson, who recruited his brother Quincy to play for the Florida Gators, Auburn is one of 16 colleges who have already made scholarship offers.

“The visit went really well,” he said of his day in Auburn. “We toured the athletic facilities, including the stadium, and they showed us around the campus and told us about some of the things they do at Auburn.”
