Dixon is a speedy running back with impressive cutting ability. He has an early scholarship offer from Tennessee, and the 5-10, 177-pound playmaker is hoping for more in the near future, specifically noting three schools he wants to offer him.
“I would like to get an offer from Auburn, Georgia Tech and Florida,” said Dixon. He said that hopes to return to Auburn, and pointed out that he enjoyed talking with AU running back coach Tim Horton.
Gunnar Watson is heading into his sophomore season.
Watson is the quarterback at Taylor County, and he is looking to build off of his freshman when he started for the high school varsity. He was impressed with Auburn after the camp on Sunday.
“(Auburn’s) facilities are super nice,” Watson expressed after the camp. “I love their indoor facility. I would like an offer from Auburn. It would be awesome.”
Watson currently doesn’t have any scholarship offers, but he said schools have shown interest. “I went to Tennessee with Lyn-J and (fellow Georgia high school quarterback) Trevor Lawrence,” he said. “He’s offered by them. I think if he doesn’t commit, I’m on their board right now. Hopefully, they’ll be offering soon. Mercer likes me. I’m going to one of their games. They want me back up for one of their games. Hopefully, I’ll be getting some soon.”
Watson added that he has rooted for the in-state Georgia Bulldogs, and he would love an offer from there and Tennessee.
