With a relationship with the Auburn coaches that he rates a 9 out of 10, Bishop said the Tigers continue to move up his list of schools and currently find themselves at the top along with Florida State. Also with offers from Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, Florida, Duke and others, Bishop said he’s liking the Tigers and Seminoles right now with Auburn growing on him daily.
“The relationship here at Auburn and I like the way they run things, that put them at the top,” Bishop said. “It’s also how the coaches are and their attitude and how they keep in touch with me. It’s the same way at Florida State.”
Bishop is so set with his top two at the moment that he said a decision could be coming soon. Even though he’s just heading into his junior season the 6-3, 185 pound athlete said he’s getting closer to making a choice.
“I might make it early,” Bishop said. “I might go ahead and make an early commit. I don’t know yet, but I’m going to talk it over with my parents. I’m real close.”
Something that could work in Auburn’s favor if Bishop does things early is his relationship with the staff. That includes recruiting coach Scott Fountain as well as Gus Malzahn. Getting to spend time with the head coach is something Bishop said has been very important for him.
“It’s big because of the recruiting process,” Bishop said. “It gives me a better feeling of where I want to be in college. That’s pretty big.”
