Physical LB Has "Great" Trip To Auburn

Big linebacker Elysee Mbem-Bosse discusses his visit to Auburn and why the Tigers are a big factor for him.

Ellenwood, Ga.--One of the top linebackers on Auburn’s board, physical Elysee Mbem-Bosse from Cedar Grove High was on campus this weekend for an extended visit to check out the Tigers. Spending time with Gus Malzahn, Will Muschamp and the rest of the staff, Mbem-Bosse said everything about the trip went well and Auburn is definitely one of his favorites.

“The weekend went great and I had a lot of fun,” Mbem-Bosse said. “I had a great time interacting with the different people that are being recruited there by the great Auburn program. It didn’t change my feelings for them because when you’ve visited a program more than one time and keep visiting it just keeps getting better and better.”

Getting the chance to stay in Auburn and have a very relaxed visit was something that Mbem-Bosse said added to his enjoyment this weekend. Without the rush of making a trip over and just staying for several hours, the linebacker said it allowed him to really take everything in.

“It’s a big part of the process because you want to feel comfortable wherever you go,” Mbem-Bosse said. “That’s not just at the place but with the people that are going to be around and the people that are going to be surrounding you.”

One of the people that Mbem-Bosse said he spent the most time with was the guy that could be his future defensive coordinator. A demanding coach but one that is known as a great defensive mind, Muschamp has definitely made an impact on the 2016 prospect.

“Coach Muschamp is an amazing guy,” Mbem-Bosse said. “He’s the best defensive coordinator in the world to me. It would be great playing for him anyday.”

Planning to release a top five in the coming weeks with a decision planned for sometime in the next 2-6 weeks, Mbem-Bosse said Auburn is definitely one of the schools that will make his list and he’s excited about what he sees from the program.

“It’s a great environment,” Mbem-Bosse said. “I have a great relationship with the coaches. It’s a great education and a great atmosphere.”
